--On the King Baron, Razor’s Edge mounts at the base of each of the Quad Laser Blades.
In Brief: Razor’s Edge was created to lengthen the Baron’s blades, to open up more options.

Description: The King Baron is a fast, heavily armed, melee equipped assault Zoid. The Baron has the highest rate of fire of any production Zoid known to Zi, and although it is comprised of small calibers, this has earned it much respect and fame. Its has decent armor, a respectable speed, and agility equal to that of a ‘lesser Liger’. Its melee can be a bit lacking, but it does have four laser blades. The lasers blades are known to be cumbersome, and a bit difficult, to use because of their length. The origin of Razor’s Edge lies within the length, or lack thereof, of these blades. Razor’s Edge is based off the concept of the Elephander’s Beam Projection System. The projectors use pure energy to increase the blades’ length, to a total of 7 meters. This creates an awkward situation. The first 4 meters of the new blades, where the original blades are, are about a notch below the Blade Liger’s Laser Blades. The last 3 meters, which is made of pure energy, has little to no problem cutting through even tough armor. Odd, right? 

Each blade has an energy projector, similar to the projector of the Elephander’s Beam Projector System, hidden at the base of each of the four laser blades. While the projectors lack any kind of armor, their size make it extremely hard to target efficiently.

Now, increasing a blade’s length with pure energy can suck up a lot of juice. Razor’s Edge draws from the same power source as the E-Shield, meaning both cannot be active at the same time. It also means that once the E-Shield is drained, Razor’s Edge runs out of power, and cannot function until the E-Shield is recharged.

For the cheap price of $9,000, you can open your King Baron to greater possibilities, and an overall stronger Zoid.
