-- On all Zoids, the NomJaws replace the original fangs/teeth and portions of the jaw internals. They disable the Command Wolf's, Shadow Fox's, and König Wolf's Electron Bite Fangs.
In Brief: Trades toothy cutting power for stronger jaws with a lock system.

Description: As anyone who has ever watched a terrier discover a small fuzzy animal can tell you, dogs are made to bite down and shake things to death.

Canine Zoids are no exception, most of them using their jaws heavily in melee...but thanks to most feline rivals having superior weight, the "bite and hold" part of this equation can sometimes be a problem. Enter the NomJaws, based on the Strike Bull's terrifying toothy systems. While it lacks their extreme strength, it replaces a Zoid's original jaw systems with more powerful, fast-moving hydraulics, letting the Zoid clamp its new hardened alloy chompers around opponents faster, stronger, harder. The effect is relative, mind: a König Wolf equipped with this part will hurt you more than a Command Wolf, by virtue of its jaw being a lot larger to start.

The NomJaws can also lock, to a degree, clamping shut until deactivated by the pilot...or escaped by a particularly detirmined opponent.  It's no Vice Lock, but it's something.

Thanks to the amount of internal work mounting (and unmounting) the NomJaws requires, it disables any electrical sharpening systems originally in the Zoid's jaws while equipped, and cannot be exchanged mid-battle.  Still, if you like keeping your opponents where you've chomped them, it's a worthy purchase.
