Character Description and History:

Zalerin is about 5’ 4” and weighs no more than 150lbs, he doesn’t speak an awful lot but if he does decide to speak he always makes sure it’s something he thinks is really important or necessary. He has jet black hair that comes to midway of his neck and very dark green eyes. Zalerin hates to be told what to do and would rather do his own thing if he can. Zalerin is often somewhat depressed by his lack of friends but wants to meet people even if he seems somewhat unapproachable. His voice is moderately deep and very hollow sounding making him sound somewhat distant and thoughtful. His skin is very scarred from his past everywhere but his face and his skin is a very light color just short of being pale. Zalerin usually wears a black jumpsuit with a red pattern going along the sides and a long black cloak with a silver clasp his adopted father gave to him when he is out of the cockpit.

No one knows much about Zalerin’s past, even Zalerin doesn’t know much. The story goes that he was involved in some knid of private war or mercenary fight in the middle of nowhere and lost his memory somehow during it all. He was left alone with nothing to his name and no one to claim him. An unknown individual dropped him off at a hospital and gave the doctors what they needed, and then left without a trace. Zalerin awoke the next day and all he knew was his name. Upon release he left the hospital and wandered around the city. A car almost hit him while he was crossing the street but he instinctively dove away from the car and the driver got out to see if he was alright. The man asked him where he was going after it was established that he was alright and offered Zalerin a ride to wherever he wanted to go in compensation. It turned out that the driver was a merchant by the name of Markis and the man, after hearing Zalerin’s story took Zalerin to his home and gave him a place to stay.

After 5 years helping his father figure with his merchant business a special shipment came in. It was a cheap Command Wolf he had gotten in a deal. Zalerin had always been fascinated with zoids and the Command Wolf got him thinking about his past and the burns and scars he left the hospital with. And beyond that this Command Wolf was different, it seemed to call him. After thinking hard about it he asked Markis if he could try and pilot the Command Wolf and Markis took him out to the plains with the Command Wolf. Once in the cockpit, Zalerin found he already knew the controls of the zoid, he reflexively activated, system checked, and piloted the zoid, fascinating himself in the process. After he was done rediscovering his new skill, Zalerin leaped out of his zoid with a newfound purpose. Markis gave him the zoid and a nice sum of cash to start with and told him to go out and make a name for himself.

Zalerin always keeps his L96A1 rifle in the cockpit with him as well as a katana with a red and white striped hilt. As a sidearm he keeps a Glock 18 at his hip. He also keeps 2 white smoke grenades and a green smoke grenade for no particular reason. Zalerin bought all this equipment with money Markis gave him to fund it all. While walking through a zoid warehouse area Zalerin came across a black Lightning Saix. The owner offered him the zoid for a pretty hefty fee which Zalerin paid happily to get his hands on the magnificent beast before him. Now Zalerin seeks to become a great zoids pilot, meet new people and explore his potential in combat with his zoids.
