Character Description and History:
Roame Moontz is eldest of two daughters born to a trapper and his wife. Both she and her sister were home schooled until they were in their teens. However, their education, while covering the normal school subjects, focused heavily on nature and home making skills. Roame excelled at the hunting, fishing and survival training her father taught her. While she wasn't as adept at the skills her mother taught her, she was still able to make simple alterations to clothes and cook decent meals.

Unfortunately, Roame did not transition well from home schooling to high school. She had difficulty getting to know other teens her age and was teased mercilessly by some older girls once they learned of her hobbies of tracking and hunting. This eventually led to her grades dropping as well as Roame spending more and more time to herself.

After finishing high school, Roame realized her grades would only get her to two places: Conservation or the military. Much to the disappointment of her parents, she chose the latter. With her knowledge of surviving in the wilderness, as well as lingering reluctance to place women on the front lines, lead Roame to the special forces and eventually sniper school, where she once again excelled, especially at tracking targets. After many years of serving as a foot based sniper, she was asked to transfer to a zoid unit to allow the younger generation to take her place since they were more physically able. She accepted three months ago on the condition that she would still remain in her sniper role.

Several years within the military has left Roame rather emotionally calloused, and has been called a cold-hearted bitch on several occasions. It has also taught her to be a proponent of the end justifying the means, and while she may be hard to befriend, her loyalty is strong. She still tends to keep to herself, and is unwilling to share her troubles. When she does talk to others, she tends to be bitterly sarcastic.

One of Roame's most valuable possessions is her survival vest , which contains many items: first aid supplies, a pistol, binoculars, durable gloves, soap, toothbrush, fishing line and hooks, a couple trash bags, a thin yet warm blanket, etc. While she doesn't typically wear it out in public, she makes sure to keep it close enough to grab within a few minutes. Her preferred non-military weapon is a bow and arrow, though she typically keeps a dagger on her at all times.

Roame keeps her black hair short, only reaching to her jaw line, though it lengthens slightly towards the front so that she can easily tuck it behind an ear. Between a combination of well toned muscles and big bones, she's stocky, even at a height of 5'8". She absolutely hates wearing dresses and skirts, as they tend to catch on underbrush too often for her tastes.
