Character Description:
Rabee is an independent young boy that loves to work on Zoids. Standing at a little over four feet in height, about average for his age. He has a lean appearance, lacking the body fat normally found on children. He has waist length blue hair threaded through a cap, he keeps it in a tight braid to keep it from getting caught on parts. He wears a durable yellow jacket over a white T-shirt, and a pair of tan cargo pants. Black mechanics gloves on his hands, and a pair of standard work boots finish off his attire. Rabee is a kind person at heart always willing to lend a helping hand when needed, however he is not above guilting payment from people. His royal purple eyes are still shining with innocence, as he has yet to face any hardships. Rabee is independent, normally does things on his own, but has no problem teaming up with others.
History:
Rabee was born to a Molly and Gale Singer in Chalis, and for the first two years things were good, sadly he lost his mother due to sickness. The doctors thought it was one thing, later it turned out to be something else, and it was too late. Not one to fall apart Gale took it upon himself to make sure Rabee grew up happy. Gale started to take Rabee with him whenever he had a job or was scavenging parts. Rabee, while he missed his mom was happy to travel with his father, and if asked he wouldn’t change a thing.
This led to a rather interesting upbringing for the boy. Instead of learning in a normal school, Rabee learned in the field. He learned about different zoid parts, zoids, maintenance, calculations for weight distribution and various other technical and mechanical information. It only took seven years for him to be able to hold his own with most mechanics. It helps of course when your life is centered on that one aspect. Rabee was often by his father’s side learning anything and everything he could, zoids interested him to no end much like his dad. If he wasn’t with his dad he was tinkering with some part somewhere, on a couple of occasions he was found working on zoids parked near the shop. This got him into a good deal of trouble though the authorities knew no damage was done they hated the complaints they received. Gale always shook his head and laughed when they dragged Rabee back to the shop.
Rabee began to get a bit adventurous, sneaking into zoid cockpits around eight. To nip the problem in the bud gale set up a simulator using a cockpit from a broken zoid, this allowed Rabee to practice on his own, and not in the costumers zoids. Though eventually that wasn’t enough for him, Rabee began going through the whole of the scrap yard and eventually found his prize. It was a Snipe Master, a heavily damaged one but still a full zoid. Checking closely he found that the core was intact, he hauled it back to the garage and began to repair it. After stripping it down he was surprised to see that most of the systems were intact. It had seen better days of course, and the cockpit was totaled, but he had time and parts, Rabee was going to make it good as new.
It took him several week but Rabee eventually got the zoid working, he was ecstatic and went to find his father. Gale had to say he was impressed, when he hauled the Snipe Master back to the yard he was planning on selling it but got distracted, and his son managed to fix it to battle ready conditions. It was decided that it would be Rabee’s zoid from then on. Rabee managed to get in some frequent with his Snipe Master, making sure the targeting computer was properly set up. After a few years of practice he had pinpoint accuracy and was decent with melee combat using the talons. Finally just a month after his eleventh birthday, Rabee decided to head out to join the Zoid competitions. His father worried of course, but let him go on the promise of visits.
In his first month out Rabee came across a hard truth, while his Snipe Master was good for a shootout, it just couldn’t hand close and mid ranged combat. Sulking about this he began wondering what to do, he didn’t have enough money to buy a zoid, fix one maybe but buy one. Walking through the forest not really paying attention to where he was going, he paused. He came upon the site of a partially demolished zoid. Rabee took a moment to go over this and realized that it was a wild zoid. He ran back to camp and brought the Gustav to the downed zoids location. He loaded up and headed back home where he began work on what was to be his second partner. Three months later Rabee began practicing piloting the König Wolf. Though not as good as he is with the Snipe Master, he was proficient with the wolf when he set out again shortly after he turned twelve.
