Character Name: Ian Kazreal Nelson
Board Name: Ian Nelson
Character Gender: Male
Character Age: 23
Zoids: Dark Horn and Blade Liger
AIM Screenname: sibling mongoose
Referred By: Kalmora of the Milkshake clan.

APPEARANCE: Ian has medium length nearly straight hair that rests somewhere between white and silver, with a bit of a red twinge to it in places, mainly on the tips of his hair all the way around, although if you watch hard enough or if you watch him shake it, you can tell that he has random streaks of it in there as well, they‘re just hidden under the outward layer. His hair hangs straight for the most part, just curving to the right just a bit at the tips, leveling out just a few millimeters above of his gunmetal eyes.

His body has little fat on it at all, mostly just the essentials, you know, bones, organs, and other fleshy things that seem to be quite important. His muscle isn’t very impressive, mostly located along his legs although his abs have a bit of shape to them, as well as the rest of his upper body. His abs, however non impressive, are marred by several scars, tattoos, and other markings.

Ian’s clothing choice generally consists of a pair of black cargo pants with matching black converse, as well as a maroon red sleeveless tee, under a black leather vest. On his hands are a pair of black fingerless leather gloves, along with a pair of slim silver rings over his index and middle fingers. He has several silver rings, bars, and other such impalements lining his right ear, and only two small silver rings in his left, in the lobe, as well as his pair of silver snakebite‘s. He usually wears a silver chain necklace that comes tight around his neck, and his black parachute worn as a backpack.

PERSONALITY: Ian is sarcastic, but in the good way. The addictive, amusing way that seems to attract people to him when coupled with his actually kind personality, since they know that he’s just messing with them. Ian is quite a joy to be around, always seeming to know when to crack a joke, or be serious, depending on the situation, and almost always has something positive to say.

The main things that should be noted about Ian, however, are the fact that he’s A. Quite addicted to adrenalin rushes, and B. He can be a bit rash at times, not stopping to think about the consequences of his plans, or even what exactly that plan is. He tends to trust his gut most of the time, and doesn’t think things through before he’s already in over his head.

HISTORY: Ian was born into a nice family. Good parents, oldest sibling, seconded only by a younger sister, he was spoiled rich. He got everything he could ever need. A good education, a nice house, plenty of time with both his parents, friends, and his sibling, all the clothes, all the toys, his life was the storybook that every kid wishes he lived in. Even at a young age, he was introduced to zoids, via his grandfather. He was a famous zoids pilot, and despite his parents desires of doctor or lawyer, Ian set his sights on this as a profession.

His parents finally gave in, and just like everything else, he got this too. His parents made sure that he was ready for this. They set up his future schooling, transferring schools to a zoids educational facility, basically, a school that offered courses on zoids. Piloting, engineering, upkeep, and everything else you could ever need to know. It had amazingly advanced simulators, the best teachers, and a small student body, so he got plenty of face time on every subject, and without surprise, he passed every class with flying colors. If colors can actually fly that is… stupid cows.

Anyhow, when he returned, four years later, full of knowledge, he was hit in the stomach. No. Not with a pansy. IN THE SOUL. While he was gone, his mother, younger sister, and grandfather had all passed. His grandfather, of natural causes. His mother and only sibling… there was a fire in the house while his father was out playing poker with his friends. The bodies were burned beyond recognition, only proven to be them by dental records.

At the sight of the burned mansion, Ian dropped to his knees, pounded the very earth beneath him, stole the nearest zoid, and ran. He spent seven months out in the middle of nowhere, doing nothing. Nothing but thinking, and surviving. And then, he finally pushed himself to return to his father. Upon asking about his remaining parent, he found out something else. He got remarried. Ian shook his head, and got a place of his own. He lived. He did what he wanted. Whatever he wanted. Just like when he was a child. After a while, he ran out of money, and realized, he needed to grow up. He was eighteen. It was time. With a sigh, Ian tracked down his new home, parked the blade liger in the front yard, and trudged up to the front door.

He raised his hand, and slowly, knocked against the maple that blocked his entrance. Ian sighed, kicked the door once, and walked right in, throwing his mix of a parachute, and backpack, onto the floor, and yelled his arrival. Within moments there was a pounding of footsteps, and he was face to face with his father. It would’ve been beautiful, if he wasn’t face to face with a 12 gauge as well. He quickly explained who he was, and his father dropped the gun. They talked, reminisced, got chewed out about his new appearance, and laughed.

A few years passed, and he found out that he had an older brother. Well, brother in law. He had to meet him. He had to know about him. Why? That was above him. He just had to. To this day Ian has gathered as much information about Kalmora Horizont as physically possible, is getting close to finding him.
