Character Description and History:
Chee has hazel eyes, dark brown hair. Standing only 5’6 and lean besides, he isn’t a big person. Under his right eye he has a scar that doesn’t stand out much. He is usually seen in a black T-shirt with a blue panther zoid on it, with the letters “DM” at the top in blood red, and torn jeans with raggy tennis shoes to finish it off. But he has been known to change it up with the occasional pair of shorts and random assortment of T-shirts.
Chee has a very quiet personality. He avoids yelling or bragging, but gets his point across and isn’t a pushover. While not completely open, Chee is friendly with most people he meets as long as they don’t start any trouble with him or his friends. Chee picks up friends easily; thus he usually keeps wide and, in some instances, very odd company.
Born to a middle class family in a rural village, Chee had a nice start on life. As he grew older, he excelled at school, finishing at the top of his class. While having many friends, Chee didn’t go out for teams or groups, instead he preferred doing things alone as it allowed him to master things without any distractions. At the age of 18, he discovered mechanics. The flow of wires, tubes, and metal working as one completely fascinated him. He volunteered to help the town’s mechanic, which soon developed into a part-time job. And though this he came encounter with his first zoids.
The town serviced the zoids that crossed between the bigger towns on either side of Chee’s village. The giant bestial machines captured Chee’s heart as he began working on them with the mechanic. Their surprising personalities of the zoids always gave a new light on any day. One day while working at the shop, Chee was asked to help restore a broken down police Gorhecks. He worked hard and soon he had it fixed up. The owner never returned for the Gorhecks, and after seeing how well the ‘Hecks and Chee got along, the mechanic told Chee to keep it.
Chee took to practicing with the Gorhecks every moment he had free from working at the shop. He wasn’t very good at the beginning, but he got better as time traveled on. As he spent time with his Gorhecks, Chee gradually picked up some fighting skills, both in the pilot seat and out. So when a shady junk dealer arrived in town, Chee was ready. The fellow decided to steal some extra parts from the mechanic’s shop. Chee was making some tune ups on his Gorhecks when he heard a crashing sound. Going to check it out, he keeps his wench in hand. He walked in on junk dealer. The junk dealer pulled a knife and they struggled, Chee getting slashed under the eye. Chee smashed the man’s jaw, putting a end to the fight and called the town sheriff. After getting his cut sewed up, Chee went out with the sheriff and the mechanic to look at what the junk dealer was hauling.
Among the crap and useless parts, the crippled remains of a Aro Saurer was found. Before the others could decide what to do with it, Chee screamed compensation and took the Aro Saurer and some parts that were still mildly useful. It took him longer then he thought it would to fix the Aro Saurer, a year and a half to be exact. By this time, Chee had reached the skill level of a average pilot. His parents and his boss got together and decided that it was time for him to put that skill to real use. Ordering him a Gustav for his 23rd birthday and gathering the supplies that he would need for a journey. Chee was completely surprised and after a warm goodbye, he set out to do battle with his Gorhecks and Aro Saurer.
