Character Description and History:

Alex Kayne has light brown hair, green eyes, and stands around 6’2”. He is of slim but muscular build. Alex usually wears jeans and a t-shirt, nothing special or distinctive, but he NEVER wears shorts. 

He walks the line between serious and laid back, which is to say when there’s something important to be done, he wastes no time goofing off or wasting time. He works hard and gets the job done. When he is around family and friends, he’s much more laid back, but he is still not one to ever lose control of himself. Alex is fiercely loyal, to his friends and his family. If someone or something threatens them, he reacts. Violently.

He was born to a middle class family, who historically were smiths. They were in no way rich, but they rarely had to worry about having food on the table. Alex always loved Zoids. From the time he could sit up, he was in the cockpit of His father’s Ice Blazer, Mack. His childhood was always spent around Zoids. Whether he was servicing them, or going on runs with his father in the Ice Blazer Zoids were his passion, and his dream was to become a great zoid pilot like his father. 

At the age of ten, his dream started to become a reality. His father started teaching him how to pilot a Zoid. At first he was terrible, but as time went on, his skill improved. When Alex turned 18, his father gave him Mack, and told Alex to make him proud. From then on, he was in control of the Ice Blazer, doing anything he could think of to make his father proud. 

Alex has thought about joining a team, and working his way up the ranks in order to earn his fathers approval. Also the military is also something he could do to make his father proud on him. Will Kayne always admired a soldier, and while never pressuring Alex to join, he made it clear it would make him a proud father.

Due to his family's past in blacksmithing, he always carries his wakizashi (a shorter version of a katana) with him, which has a special place in the cockpit of his Zoids. In addition to the sword, he always carries a .45 pistol in a holster on his left hip.
